It’s a nice app if your interested in weather and lightning specifically. But, I was impressed enough with the app that I felt the app’s authors deserved a little something. There’s really no difference between the free and paid/“Pro” versions other than that th ad bar at the bottom of the screen is removed in the paid version. Now, if I can just get my lightening photography skills honed some!!! The app also has a radar included and with this I’m able to get a good weather picture in my mind of what is going on and whether I want to set up my cameras. ![]() The alerts are great in letting you know early on that there is lightning activity in the area that you’ve defined. With My Lightning Tracker I can see a line of storms coming into my area and be set up for them when they get here. So between those two hobbies I got interested in photographing lightning storms.īeing down here in south Alabama we don’t have the wide open flat land like in the midwestern areas where you can see a storm fifty miles away.if you don’t know they’re coming the storms can be on you around here before you know.and too late to set up cameras. In Bad Storms that pop up, or shall we say come out of know where with Lighting protection suddenly becomes important that is where the Developer steps in with this app and alerts you myself and our family that a Dangerous Storm is coming, but tells you and shows you the location as to where it is at to where you are standing! You don’t find too many apps that are right on Target about the Data, and Technology that they supply this Thanks to the Developer is one of those Great apps!
